My process

1 - Connecting

We’ll start with a no-obligation meeting, which is a chance for us to get to know each other and see if we’re a good fit. This is done via video call. Here, you'll let me know your rough plans for the ceremony, and I can walk you through my process. After the call, I’ll send you a digital quote.

If you decide to go ahead with me as your celebrant, you’ll pay a 50% deposit to secure your date and fill in a short booking form.

To book in for a chat, fill out the enquiry form here.

2 - Sharing Stories and Ideas

Around four months before your ceremony, I’ll get back in touch and that’s where the fun starts! We’ll meet for a few hours to start sketching out what your ceremony might look like, what rituals you’d like to include, and this is an opportunity for me to really get a feel for you and your partner and start to figure out what unique touches we could add to your day.

After our meeting, I’ll send you some questionnaires about your love and story, and another to go through the logistics. It’s important to me to cover as many of the details as possible - I want you to arrive on the day feeling sure that we’ve thought of everything, so the ceremony can flow naturally for you.

3 - Creating

I’ll get to work writing your ceremony script. My style is fairly intuitive; by this point we should have connected enough for me to write something that feels truly reflective of you and your partner.

I’ll include all of your preferences and create a comprehensive script (including what music goes where and what cues you’ll need to bear in mind on the day). When I send you the script (roughly 3-4 weeks before the ceremony date), it can go through as many edits as you like before it’s signed off and ready for the day.

I can also help with vows. During this time, I am available for as many phone calls or e-mails as you may need to discuss the content and share ideas. There’s usually another call in there somewhere to check we’re all on the same page and feel ready for the day. Your final invoice is due 14 days before your ceremony date.

4 - The Day

On the day of your ceremony, I’ll arrive an hour early and check in with you all. I only ever book in one ceremony per day, so you have my full attention and I can be flexible with whatever situations may arise. There are some special touches I can include on the day if you’d like - more about those here.

After the ceremony, I stay for around 15 minutes and then I head off to let you enjoy the rest of the day with your chosen loved ones.
