I am so glad we found Hazel to marry us when we did. As soon as I saw her picture and her bio, I knew she would be the person to marry my husband and I. Rev Hazel Jane took the time to get to know us - we spent time with her sharing our stories and she told them perfectly on the day. Everyone commented on how beautiful her ceremony was and that her energy is radiant. She is truly one of the best people we’ve met and we feel like we’ve known her forever. I cannot recommend Hazel enough to anyone who is looking to get married. She is kind and helpful and will perfectly tell your love story. We recently used Hazel as our celebrant for a non-religious ceremony in Scotland. Having travelled up from London, we didn't get the opportunity to meet Hazel in person before the day, but thanks to her always being available for our calls and emails (even to help with non-Celebrant questions, such as marriage schedules) as well as the incredible script she wrote for us before the big day, we knew we were going to be in safe hands. I don't think any of our expectations could have prepared us for just how good Hazel was. From the moment I arrived at the venue (as the groom) I found an oasis of calm in Hazel, who was happy to chat as much or as little as I wanted (and I was going rapidly from one end of the spectrum to the other at times!), as well as walking me through the proceedings and dropping in little words of wisdom here and there. Once the bride arrived and our ceremony began, all of the guests (and us as the couple) were blown away by Hazel's captivating storytelling, relaxed but engaging style and the way she completely made the whole thing perfect. Even having read the script at least 10 times in the build up, we were amazed at how Hazel brought it to life, in equal parts funny, spiritual and romantic, and our guests were queuing up to tell us how good the ceremony was for the rest of the day. Hazel found a way to accommodate a private element to the ceremony before we left the church for the confetti, and this was the icing on the cake for me, and sums up how personal and flexible our experience was. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hazel to anyone.

I can’t express how grateful we are to Hazel for the wonderful service she gave us as our celebrant. We clicked with her straight away and knew she was the person we wanted to conduct our special ceremony. Hazel engaged with us throughout the whole process and really took time to get to know us and understand us as individuals as well as a couple. We originally wanted someone we knew to marry us as we wanted it to be as authentic as possible but Hazel managed to capture everything we wanted to convey and gave us a very genuine, warm and personable ceremony as well as some laughs along the way! She kept things easy and flexible, which was good as we also had a very relaxed attitude to our wedding! I wish I could give Hazel 6 stars!! I honestly have too much to say but I will try and keep it to the point! Hazel's ceremony that she put together for us was my favourite part of the day and when I think back to it I am filled with such happiness. Every single person at the wedding told us that they had never seen a ceremony like ours and that it was so special and beautiful to be a part of. Hazel was attentive to our requests and sensitive to our wider family's beliefs. She wrote a ceremony that I will treasure forever (and did all this whilst having her first child!!!). Hazel was wonderful to work with. She made the whole process fun, enjoyable, and very personal, with plenty of laughs along the way. She’s very intuitive and immediately recognised the type of relationship we have and understood what style of ceremony we wanted, and ultimately wrote a script that perfectly reflected that. Hazel is a dream. She is a true artist who creates the most deeply personalised and poetic ceremonies we have ever witnessed. Not only did she capture the story of our love so profoundly, but she genuinely cared and invested heavily in the ceremony to surround us with so much love, energy, positivity, comfort and safety. We felt at home in the mountains of Scotland amongst the wild elements she called in for us. She listened to everything we said we wanted or needed and even came up with our own ritual to seal our promises in a way that continued telling our story. Not only did we well up on the day listening to her speak, but when we got home that night and hopped in the bath to warm up, we did again too. We have read our ceremony over and over and every single time the emotions of the day come flooding back. We have since read it to our friends, who have gushed at how perfect it was for us. It was as if Hazel had known us forever. We will be eternally grateful for what she created and gave to us, not only on the day, but in everything that came before the day. We will feel connected to her forever - that’s how good she is. Hazel becomes sacred family when she marries you, a beautiful human that is always a part of your story.
